Cavity Wall Extraction

What is cavity wall extraction?

Controlled removal of insulation from the gap between your inner and outer walls. If insulation has slumped, become damp or was poorly installed, extraction lets the cavity dry and perform correctly before new insulation is fitted.

Cavity Wall Extraction

How we extract

Protect areas and set safe access

Drill a neat pattern along mortar joints

Agitate and vacuum insulation into sealed bags

Clear bridges / debris and check vents / weep details

Re-point holes to blend with existing finish

Most homes complete in a single day, subject to access and condition.

Aftercare & re-insulation

We provide a simple report with photos and recommendations. Once the cavity is clean and dry, we can specify compliant re-insulation (subject to survey). Where eligible, ECO4 routes may support approved measures; anything outside scope is quoted transparently.
