Window Insulation

What is window insulation?

We add a discreet secondary glazing layer and upgrade seals around sashes/frames to improve thermal performance, reduce draughts and help stabilise room temperatures.

Is my home suitable?

Ideal for single-glazed or leaky frames, including period sashes. At survey we check frame condition, opening types, ventilation needs and access to recommend the right solution.

How we install

Protect areas and assess frame operation

Fit secondary glazing or panels to measured sizes

Add or renew perimeter seals and draught-proofing

Maintain ventilation (e.g., trickle vents) where required

Tidy finish and demonstrate operation

Most homes complete in a few hours per room, subject to access and window count.

Aftercare & funding

You’ll receive installation records and simple care guidance. Where eligible, ECO4 routes may support approved measures; anything outside scope is quoted transparently.
